While we strive to feed our families healthy, organic, seasonal, and locally sourced food, we know that this is not always possible for us, and for many other families out there. That’s why you’ll never see a recipe calling for an “organic” ingredient. And that’s also why you’ll see occasional indulgences (i.e. not so healthy) foods on this site. We believe that everything is ok– in moderation!
We are also proponents of the “Meatless Monday” campaign and will try our best to post one vegetarian (or vegan) recipe a week.
