turkey day recap

Thanksgiving was super yummy! I cooked the entire meal for the first time (including my first turkey!) for my family and Jessica celebrated T-day with her family. Check out some pictures from our days. I’ve also included some links to recipes I used for inspiration.

Roast turkey… brined and golden!

so many sides
The Marino Thanksgiving table looks divine! Check out that herby turkey!

sides!     sprouts, cran, gravy
Sides 1: [clockwise] sweet potatoes with marshmallows, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes
Sides 2: [top to bottom] brussels sprouts with bacon, cranberry sauce, pan gravy

Two of Jessica’s favorite things: cranberry sauce and fine china– woo to the crystal!

favorites!     kimchi
These were my favorite dishes… You can’t have a [Korean] Thanksgiving without kimchi!

Pecan, apple, pumpkin
Mmmmmm. PIE! Jessica had pecan, apple, and pumpkin. Homemade, of course. I enjoyed the same three pies, but ours were from Costco (and still delicious!).

Hope you had a lovely turkey day with your families!

  1. Jessica says:

The pecan pie is from Whole Foods because Alex doesn’t eat pumpkin or apple pies.
